Scandinavian duplex interior design in Madrid

If it weren’t for the title I’m sure you would have never guessed this residence was located in Madrid. The interior décor is more similar to the ones found in Sweden and it has a Scandinavian feel. But, yet again, it’s an example that shows us the location is irrelevant and that you can recreate your favorite decors anywhere in the world.

The pictures here have been taken in a duplex in Madrid. It’s a small place and it only measures 100 square meters in total. Nevertheless, it’s an airy and bright home. It’s filled with classic furniture pieces with designs inspired from the 50s and 60s. It’s that mid-century modern classic style that some people talk about. This particular style is also characterizes by the fact that you can find there all the great names like Eames, Eero Saarinen, Arne Jacobsen, Poul Henningsen, Hans J. Wegner, Finn Juhl, oul Kjærholm, Verner Panton, Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier etc. It’s like they’ve all decided to have a meeting there.

And what happens when you have so many great names in your home? You get a stylish interior décor. The thing about this type of interiors is that you can’t really say anything bad about anything in there because every little item was designed by some great name.{found on VårtnyaHem}
