Retro-Futuristic Flat in Manhattan with Zeppelin and Sub Design

I am sure that you have at least once dreamed about living on board a submarine, especially if you read Jules Verne’ s book “20,000 leagues under the sea”. But since very few people have the chance of being Nemo or a marine, you can turn your passion into something really interesting and … decorate your huge flat so as to look like the inside of a submarine. Well, I guess it only works if you do have a huge flat and you live in Manhattan. Oh, yes, and you are an artist. This is the work of 32 year old Jeremy Noritz who lives in the most famous New York neighbourhood. His work can be described as a retro-futuristic submarine fantasy displayed in a 500 feet flat.

What is really great about the design of this flat is the fact that it does not seem real and you feel like you stepped in a totally different world. The moment you open the submarine-stylish door you are in in Jeremy’s imagination and you see tiny details of it everywhere: the round table in the middle of the living room that reminds you of captains’ instruments, pulleys, antique pipes, wrenches, tools , all kinds of gears, , even the way cabinets are made of metal and bolted to the walls and the strange fabric that covers the bed, everything suggests a sub. And then suddenly you see a blimp hanging from the ceiling and casting light from inside and that light turns into a rainbow at night.

I am telling you : this is surreal. And if you buy it you will have more than just a home, you will have an open art museum, a crazy world of your own, ready to be yours for $1.75 billion.
