This splendid apartment is located in Lisbon, in the center of the historical Baixa district. It can be found inside an 18th century building with amazing architectural details that have been wonderfully preserved throughout the years. The building has been recently refurbished. The goal was to turn five floors into short-term rental spaces. This apartment is one of the resulting spaces.

The transformation was a project conducted by architect Jose Adriao. The architect decided to preserve the original character of the structure intact. It was something that anyone who would have realized how beautiful these details are would have done. By preserving the original charm and character of these spaces, each unit was given a unique blast from the past, an opportunity to showcase some of the beautiful architectural details that make this building special.

This particular apartment, as the ceilings suggests, is situated on the top floor of the building. It is one of the most beautiful ones. One of the main reasons for that is the presence of these high ceilings and all the amazing exposed beams and skylights. Besides these gigantic accent features, there’s not much to see around here. The apartment is very simple and lacks any other spectacular details. Yet it’s a space very rich in history that manages to combine old elements with modern details.{found on Vosges Paris }.
