Pirate room decor for kids

There are a lot of themes to choose from when decorating a room. It’s best to choose something you really like and go from there. However, it’s the first time we see a pirate room. It’s a really interesting choice and, when you think about, it’s not that difficult to create. There are a lot of things that you include in such a décor.

In this, case what’s particularly interesting is that several piece were made by the owners themselves. For example, they made the beds. The room also has faux doors, storage closets, shelves and lots of interesting decorations. There’s a pirate bust in there, some ship models, an anchor and, probably the most interesting of all, a bamboo mat that was painted with the world map.

Since the room was quite small, additional storage spaces were needed. For that the crated from under the beds were a real help. They are very practical and functional and they can be easily stored under the bed where they basically take no floor space at all. The wall closets are the main piece and they are perfect for storing cloths and shows. The shelves are for decorations. The walls have also been decorated with some old maps that were framed. Another very creative idea was to paint the ceiling. Now everywhere you look there are pirate items everywhere. It’s a pirate room indeed.{found on lesrondabatchelor}.
