Palm Desert Residence – Opulence yet Elegant

Palm desert residence is situated in Palm Desert of California and has been designed by Heliotrope Architecture and Audrey Alberts Designs. The single story structure features low sloped roofs, open and lopsided ground layout around the back yard patio and pool area.  The structure is covered by a layer of stone covering and zinc roof to defend the house against the harsh outside climate. Other important elements embedded into the design of the house allowing the residents to enjoy the outside climate of the desert are shade, sunlight and relaxed and simple outdoor living.

It’s a very well camouflaged structure. The colors used to disguise the exterior of this building are very natural and similar to the landscape found in that area. So it looks natural and perfectly integrated into the surroundings, like it belongs there. As for the interior design, it has a modern and simple look, with some interesting details. Every room has a different design and appearance in order to make it as functional as possible. I like the living room. It’s a very beautiful décor in there. It looks very inviting, cozy and relaxing. It’s the perfect place for interaction.

The kitchen is also very functional, modern and simple. The same goes for the bathroom. The bedroom look very comfortable and relaxing and it has a splendid view that allows you to wake up admiring the beautiful landscape and the natural surroundings. Overall, it’s a beautiful and elegant residence.
