Suppenkaspar Table by Nina and Isabel Farsen Grupp

From a collaboration between two German designers Nina and Isabel Farsen Grupp, both graduates of the University of Arts in Berlin in 2007 results a table with 2 legs. The missing two legs of the table are compensated by weights fixed in the appropriate places. Held by nearly invisible thin strings, the weights make sure the table is balance enough to let you keep your stuff on without fretting about falling.

It’s an ingenious idea that makes you rethink the whole conception you had about this piece of furniture. It’s almost impossible to imagine that a table can have only two legs and still be functional. Not only that, but this ingenious table also provides you with two fun elements that keep you busy while using the table.

It would make a great piece of furniture for those who own cats. The balancing features places in two of the table’s corners come in different shapes and sizes. They will keep your cat busy at least for a while. And the cats are not the only one who like this table, as you can see in the pictures. There’s also a version with a soccer ball incorporated. That’s a nice idea, especially for this sport’s fans.
