This place is actually both a residence and a graphic design office. Designed by Stack + Co, it manages to fulfill both functions perfectly. The interior design is modern and minimalist, like in most cases. Natural beauty and charming colors in a Spanish vacation home

Here, in southern Spain, the views are spectacular and this makes the area perfect for building vacation homes. The owners of this one, Linda and Martin Bradbury, definitely knew how to pick the location for theirs. This beautiful vacation home features wonderful views of the Serrania de Ronda which can be admired from the patio but also from inside the house. The beautiful blue sky and the mountains enveloped in fog are brought into the interior décor through shades of turquoise.

The color palette is very beautiful in general in the case of this lovely vacation home. The turquoise accents are definitely the stars of the décor and they have been strategically placed throughout the rooms, featuring different shades that capture the beauty of the outdoors and create a nice connection with the exterior.

A 50 square meter attic transformed into a colorful and chic space

Working with attic spaces is always a challenge. Most of the times, the problem is with the shape of the roof that minimizes the total usable space inside. There’s also the problem with the light since you can’t have regular windows in some cases. But all these challenges can be overcome and sometimes the results are very inspiring, like in this case, for example. This used to be a dark attic hidden behind an interior décor that didn’t suit it well at all.

The 50 square meter attic space has been renovated and the transformation is spectacular. The new smart design fits it perfectly. A big surprise was to discover that this space has false ceilings and a valuable portion was hidden behind them. Discovering the actual height of the attic was a big step in transforming it into a bright and airy space. Now it has exposed wooden beams hat were painted white but there’s a feeling of spaciousness throughout which completely changes the atmosphere.
