The client here wanted a dwelling ideal for his small family and also good enough to accommodate the visitors from time to time. The involved brains ensured that the house was well ventilated and it also did not miss out on the amazing views on offer from the original site.

Contemporary is what we have come to like with the ages but the Avery Bombe Chest from Crate&Barrel is in no mood to do so. This is purely a traditional design inspired offering and it is a far cry from the modern furniture trajectory. Nonetheless, we’ve come to like its curved chest and the lightly distressed charcoal finish. The chest offers three drawers and it has been lined with hand-silkscreened paper in a black-on-cream vine pattern and finished using brushed nickel pulls.
