Superior contemporary house in New Zealand

This house designed by Lat forty Five’s engineer Guy Shallard is truly a top class house of New Zealand. The most appealing feature of this house is a bridge suspended several meters above ground which houses the living room. The bridge has been structured heavily, and it can literally stand heavy things such as a train.

The area below the bridge has been enhanced as an alfresco living area embedded with extractor hood and a barbecue. Then there is an open clad terrace on both the sides of the house. Amazing steel stairs are fitted in the wall and lead into the living area.

Beach House in Kuressaare – Estonia

This beach house located in the Kuressaare, Estonia was designed by Asum Arhitektid and is truly splendid and impressive. The house boosts an amazing architecture structure which keeps the surrounding views intact. There are three functional units of area and have been covered by a concrete roof and includes the youth activity area, toilets and shower rooms and the life guard. As there is a rise in the sea level once in a decade, the house is single shelled and covered by a steel cladding bent diagonally. The concrete structure comprises of four posts, roof plate and fours slabs which are linked to the posts and thus support the boxes.This building had not been built for being a residence, but for serving as a public beach house, some building where you can find the life guard , toilet and whatever you might need on a beach. However, it does look interesting, especially because of the unusual roof. It is somewhat similar to those plane flaps that can be used to play with the aerodynamics, in this case the constant sea breeze.

As a graphic designer I love typography and I think that it is an interesting and visual idea to decorate a house with capital letters.You can save a lot of money by buying unfinished letters and painting them yourself. In this article I am going to give you some different ideas to decorate your bedroom,living room using capital letters.

It is easy to buy or make letters that you will later use for decorating your house. If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person you can carve them from pieces of wood or cut them in foam or some other hard materials that you can think of. Or get really creative and use dried twigs or flowers, pieces of twisted fabric etc to obtain big sized letters that you can paint in a vivid colour and then use to give a message. You will be delighted to see that your guests will try to figure out the message and wonder what your intention was when you used them. It is a great idea and can be used in many ways.
