Oak Veneer Console

Normally electronic devices like TVs, DVD players and other similar gadgets must stay within reach because you might need to operate them manually. However, since now everything works on remote control and floor space is invaluable, I decided to move my stuff on a higher level – mounted on the wall. It is a good decision and it clears a lot of the floor space.  This Oak Veneer Console is perfect for what I had in mind and serves more than one purpose. The console is simple in design, but great as functionality and use. It is made of oak veneer that comes in a natural colour that goes very well with any wall colour, especially white.

You can use it to place your DVD player inside and also the TV on top. It is not big, but it is perfect for whatever electronics you might have in the house and want to mount on the wall. Speaking of which, the mounting hardware comes with the console and is pretty easy to install. There are two discreet holes in the corners of the console and they are supposed to be used for the wires. This way you will avoid the ugly piling up of cables and the DVD or blu ray player will be easily connected to a wall plug underneath. The item is made in Vietnam and sells for $199 at CB2.
