Nice DIY Witch –Like Lampshade

These days my husband came home and told me that he saw many Halloween decorative items in a store. As there is only a month till Halloween we think of finding some decorations for our home too. I have always loved to decorate my house with all sorts of things that help me to feel closer to that specific holiday. It a way of making you feel the spirit of a certain holiday and at the same time you come to bring a change into your house.

This DIY project can be great for our intention. It refers to a nice DIY Witch- like Lampshade. Actually the lampshade takes the form of a witch’s iconic hat. Besides the fact that you will be happy to create something with your hands, decorate your house for a special holiday it is also a useful item. It is not something that you can put away once you do not use it anymore.

For such a DIY project you may need some materials like: X-acto knife, black foam core, 8″ mixing bowl, black ribbon, scissors, tape, lamp shade, hot glue gun, purple ribbon, buckle and a lamp.

Imagine how charmed your kids would be when they could see such a great Halloween lampshade. They will definitely want such an item for their room, especially those who are afraid of dark and the evil spirits who are said to appear on the night of Halloween.
