New York Yotel by Softroom and Rockwell Group
Located on the corner of 42nd Street and 10th Avenue, in the LEED silver certified MiMa development in New York, thisnew building is the first Yotel built outside of Europe. It sits on a 1.2 million square foot site and it features the largest outdoor terrace in all of Manhattan.
This is a very luxurious hotel and it includes plush rooms and fine restaurants and bars. It’s really a one-of-a-kind hotel that receives travelers from all over the world. It’s not the just the décor and the size of this place that is impressive but also the high tech side of the hotel. The visitor’s luggage is taken and stored by a giant robotic arm. Yobot also performs mechanical tricks and entertains the guests between duties.
Even though this particular hotel brand is known for their capsule rooms, the New York Yotel offers a different approach. It offers 669 full sizes cabins including first class and VIP suites. Each of these rooms is characterizes by the comfortable beds, some of them rotating, and the British-made natural wood and coconut-fiber mattresses.
The rooms also offer plenty of space for storage and include modular furniture that can be rearranged and adapted to each visitor’s needs and preferences. The hotel’s fourth floor is a huge open space area featuring restaurants, bars, a club and several lounges and meeting rooms while also offering panoramic views of Manhattan.{found on ihabitat}
