New Colorful eBay Workplace Prototype

Usually everybody dreams of a wonderful work place where he or she can feel great while he or she is working at his or her desk. Work is one of the stressful agents of our life and if the work place is not at least friendlier then our work will become more stressful.

It seems that Valerio Dewalt Train Associates had the same idea in mind. They tried collaboration with eBay’s Internal Workplace Resources Team to create a workplace prototype with some more flexible work areas. They had in mind work spaces that could be reconfigured easily so that can suit their needs. Their design process began with a collaboration of more than 5,000 eBay employees who had to share their opinions and views about their present work places and with a tour of other technology companies’ workplace design practices.

Their result came out to be a great colorful and eco-friendly work place where everybody would take advantage of the high technology investments, private and open work areas and the joyful atmosphere.

There are bench like desks where everybody can feel comfortable and share their opinions or private semi-closed offices that create a peaceful ambiance where you can concentrate and work better. All these spaces like the hotel stations, team project areas, the alcove talk or think areas make you fell free to express yourself and share your ideas with the others.

The joyful colors and the comfortable pieces of furniture make of this work environment a more attractive and wonderful place where you can really do your job at your best.
