Modern Watergate Apartment in Washington

Robert Gurney Architect has renovated the Watergate Apartment. This modern one bedroom apartment is located in The Watergate complex, in Washington DC, USA. The building was designed by Italian architect Luigi Moretti, and is considered to be one of Washington’s most desirable addresses.

Located on the fourteenth floor of the building, this contemporary home was entirely renovated, starting with the flooring which was removed to the concrete slab. As the clients wanted the apartment was designed as a house with open living spaces and superb views along the Potomac River. The architect used an extended material palette in order to give it a subtle and refined look that will catch your eye.

The 1,250 square feet apartment is a great place to start your life. With soft, neutral tones throughout the entire place the architect managed to create the feeling of a bright, airy space. Moreover the huge windows allow you to enjoy tones of natural light and spectacular views. It also presents a contrast between white and black modern furnishings, which gives it flavor. This chic apartment has upscale, state of the art appliances and a cool, interesting wine rack.

The lovely Watergate Apartment is the perfect home. It is a sleek, hip place that has a lot to offer. A sanctuary to retreat to, this apartment is a wish come true.
