Modern Complex in The City of Eternal Spring

Surnamed “City of Eternal Spring” in the 19th century, Cuernavaca, Morelos in Mexico was a great city to start a project such as the next one. The collaboration between Aflo Arquitectos and Serrano Monjaraz Architects created a 12 apartment and 20 houses complex.

The site’s local trees and vegetation were a valuable asset for this project. Moreover it was entirely designed around the vegetation, so that the owners could fully benefit from the views and also preserve the Glen trees.

The complex has apartment units that are located in two floors and two-story houses, that appear to be “Big Boxes”. Furthermore they both have views over the garden. The owners can also enjoy other features like a gym and pool. When you first see the San Juan Houses the first thing that comes to mind is the “house in the tree”. What do you think?
