It may seem that we are talking again about a luxurious house on the seaside but what we are about to present is not just a cliché, as you will see. The house, situated in Ljungskogen, is not actually a new one but this isn’t a weakness at all. All the styles adopted in time put a mark on its design and you’ll be amazed to find classical elements elegantly combined with modern technology.

The house was built back in 1909 by Consul Petersen and it is located an only 100 m from the shore. Besides the construction itself, the property also includes a double garage and a woodshed and 3,138 m2 of gardens and untouched natural areas where you can spend your time in the hot days of summer without suffering from heat. Being situated near the sea, the location benefits from the cooling breeze specific to this geographical area.

The first renovation was made in 1994, when the house got new windows, doors and a reconstruction of the upper level. The second renovation from 2000 includes a new kitchen, a new heating system, as well as an attractive extension in the form of a beautiful room facing west with glass walls around. The house has two floors, the first one consisting of socializing rooms, such as a living room and a dining room, and also a charming library for those days when you want to spend some quality time just with yourself. Also on this first floor there is a large kitchen that has oak cabinets by Marbodal and equipment by Gaggenau.

The upper level is designed to have the appearance of ship so it has some lovely board and parquet floors, wooden panel ceilings, and naval doors with port windows . This floors gathers three bedrooms , a bathroom, a shower room and a separate toilet. {found on skeppsholmen}.
