Decorating with Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala

By now, I’m sure you already know what Pantone’s Color of the Year is for 2015. When it was first announced, Marsala collected a lot of skeptics. After Tangerine Tango in 2012, Emerald in 2013, and Radiant Orchid last year, Marsala seems a bit…. well boring. It comes across as dull and outdated when paired against those bright colors.

What’s up with that, Pantone? However, after a bit of time to sink in, Marsala is taking over my Pinterest boards and invading my closet. Turns out that this burnt orange-y red is so rich and full and grown up, it’s just what we need to start implementing in our decorating. Here are 10 ways to use Marsala in your everyday interior decor.
