Liz Taylor Portrait by Andy Warhol for Decoration

I am sure you all have heard by now about the death of an icon – Liz Taylor. She was a great actress, but she was also the source of inspiration for many artists, including Andy Warhol who made a magnificent portrait of her , of course in his own unusual vision. Well, if you liked her and if you want to have a special house, you can use a copy of this portrait to decorate the house and give it a post modernist air.

The portrait has strong colours that make a powerful impact on the visual sense and it fits better in a modern house or in one that is full of art objects and  decorations, as you can see in the photos. It stands out very well if you place it against a black mahogany covered wall or even against a perfectly white wall because of the red background and strong shade of blue near the eyes.

Of course, if you want the real thing you will have to pay a sum with a lot of zeroes, but you could settle with a copy of it just fine. It still looks great and it’s an homage paid for both a great actress and a great painter. And it’s also a simple way of decorating your house in an original way that will draw people’s attention in an instant.
