Light me chair

Locking for a lighting lamp and a chair, now you can have them all in one! With the Light me chair designed by Agnieszka Sikorska and Michal Kwasieborski all of that is possible. The lighting within the chair is switched on by a sensor that is built into the seat’s construction, when the user sits down, the sensor illuminates the chair.

It’s an interesting and ingenious idea but I don’t see how that feature is helping the user. I mean, it’s not like you could read with your feet or sitting upside down so I really don’t see how that lamp can help you other that being fun for a while, but even then you get bored after a while. It would have been better to create a chair with a lamp incorporated and that would actually be placed above your head so that it can actually help you while reading.

I find this piece fun and interesting but completely useless. The only way you could both read and sit on this chair at the same time is if you use it during the day, and then you don’t need the light because the sun does all the work for you. This piece is a big waste of time and materials.
