Labware lamps By Benjamin Hubert

Here is a younger designer Benjamin Hubert from UK which has made an interesting light design and won the best product award at London’s 100% Design.Created for the brand called Authentics, the Labware is a collection of glass blown lamps that are inspired by the traditional laboratory bakers and comes in three different forms. Originally designed as floor lamps, these three forms of lamps consist of blown white glass and are plugged with stoppers that are made from bark-topped Portuguese cork.

People love these lamps because their design is a bit unusual, but unique and it reminds them of their school days when they learned to perform chemistry experiments in the lab. I am sure all of you loved these classes whether you were good at it or not because they were simply spectacular and a lot different from what we used to do in the other classes. So we all remember these glass containers we used for storing different chemicals and we love them because of the memories they trigger.
