Know about indoor fountain and its types
Indoor fountains are gaining popularity all across the globe as they add a lot of flare and style to a room. They are available in a wide variety of sizes, materials, textures, colors, and styles – ranging from sophisticated and rustic to the dramatic ones. Indoor fountains can be small or large, with or without lighting and shiny or quiet.
When it comes to the types of indoor fountains, they are usually broken down into three types – tabletop fountains, floor fountains and wall mounted fountains. Each of these categories offers several shapes and styles to choose from. It is very vital to decide on the purpose of the indoor fountain and where it is to be used before you select a type. Table top fountains are quite reasonable than the other types. Although expensive and large, but wall mounted fountains and floor fountains are elaborate and can be used as the focal point of a room.
Let us know in details about each type –
a) Wall mounted fountains – Wall mounted fountains are the most popular type. They are generally rectangular in shape and can be vertical or horizontal depending upon your preference. They are very easy to install and can be mounted on any type of walls with the help of a bracket system. Most of the wall mounted fountains have a bottom and top panel made out of copper or steel. The bottom panel holds the pump and the water and the water re-circulates and falls again on the surface. The surface type is generally slate, marble, faux slate or mirrored surface. With so many options, you have the liberty to mix and match the surface type to achieve the desired look.
b) Floor fountains – Floor fountains are quite similar to the wall mounted fountains with the only difference being that, these fountains sit on the floor. These fountains are perfect for lobbies, hallways, decks, patios and entryways. They are available in a wide variety of designs and styles and are also customizable. Simple installation and ready to start as they are installed make these fountains a popular choice.
c) Tabletop Fountains – as the name implies, tabletop fountains are designed for smaller spaces and meant for use on a coffee table, countertop, desk, or an end table. They are again available in a variety of design, style and materials. They require no assembly at all and can be used right away once purchased.
