Inspiring Rhubarbs by Emma Marga Blanche

Lamps are objects which have always created a special atmosphere. Besides the useful light which help us to light our dark spaces they are beautiful ornaments, a combination between shape, material and light. These characteristics make of these some real pieces of art which light our soul and room too.

Emma Marga Blanche is a French designer who designed Rhubarbs, a type of pleated lamps. They are made of folded polypropylene and this folded shape illuminated by a source of light creates a wonderful, relaxing ambience.Their subtle glow can make you imagine a romantic scenario too. If they are used in public places, like a café or a night club then you can enjoy a private and calm atmosphere which they create in these spaces.

If you are curious enough to take a look on them then you can see them displayed on circular landings at the Biologiska Museum in Stockholm.
