Innovation bamboo bench from Gal Ben-Arav

Certainly a very creative idea, although the comfort and practical aspect might be questionable. The design incorporates a combination of aluminum and raw bamboo. It puts together two separate worlds: on one hand there’s the natural and organic bamboo when, on the other hand, there’s the industrial, artificial aluminum casting.

If you posses a garden, this bench would perfectly integrate in the surrounding living environment, especially considering the durability of the material to weather conditions. Because the bench is made from raw material, the bamboo plant can be renewed very quickly, the processing is minimal as well as the invested energy.

And the best thing of all is that it can be 100% recycled. It is a great representation of the life cycle. Of course, at one point, it might become an annoying process, especially if you have to do it yourself. But, nevertheless, this very simple bamboo bench can be situated in an urban, industrial, gray environment and it will instantly revive it. Nature strikes again!
