Whether you’re super crafty or need to be fed constant ideas … sometimes all you really need is something to get the job done that won’t cost an arm and a leg to do it.  Maybe you’re having guests over for a dinner party or need something to spruce up the dining room table, you don’t have to splurge on something that could easily be made better or with more creativity on a lesser budget. Take the time to sift through all these fun, DIY ideas that are not only stylish but inexpensive too!

1. Romantic mirrored candles.

Turn your old mirror into a tray and add some different size candles. Once they’re lit, this becomes a romantic, eclectic centerpiece that’s perfect for a dinner for two!

2. Simplicity at its best.

Grab some dainty carnations and place them in a vase you’ve already got hidden away. It’s quick, simple and charmingly sweet for afternoon brunch or tea.

3. A basket of goodies.

Small baskets are relatively inexpensive and most already have one or two lying around. Take one and fill them up with some fruit for an instant treat. This is great for spring and for fall with the seasonally appropriate fruits of course!

4. Herbs in your face.

For a simple look and a very nice-smelling treat, try using herbs in place of more expensive flowers. They’re vibrant and dainty. Perfect for the breakfast nook that overlooks the backyard. Potting these in some mason jars would be a perfect touch.

5. Floating candles.

Another super simple and inexpensive centerpiece that is always quite romantic, a vase filled with water! After you’ve added the water you can add whatever else in the mix.Some pebbles for a bit of edge, rose petals or a whole flower.
