Impressive Great Glass House by Foster + Partners

It has an oval shape, it looks blue and it is big. What is it? No, it is not an Easter egg, it something else. If you are in a plane you might think that you are looking at a huge blue egg or a giant blue pebble. Actually, you will be amazed to find out that it is about the largest single- span glasshouse in the world, located in Carmarthenshire, Great Britain.

This amazing building, half buried in the ground, was designed by Foster + Partners and houses more than a thousand of plant species, many of them which no longer exist in other areas. If its interesting design amazed you, you would be more surprised to find out that it is also a building which takes care of our environment and uses many alternative sources for getting heat or water.
