It’s called “Terramac” and it’s an eco-friendly 3D knitted piece that serves as a receptacle for the planter’s roots. It’s made from plant-derived polylactic acid fiber. The planter is populated with an assortment f mosses and the result is an organic carpet.

This collection of area rugs was designed by John Deere and it’s quite interesting as well. The rugs would look nice in a modern or contemporary space. They have circular shapes and they imitate trampled turf or mud. They are made using New Zeeland wool and their designs were inspired by the Scandinavian rural landscape.
