Icarus was the sun of a craftsman, both exiled on the island Crete. He lost his life while he was trying to escape using some wings made by his father. The wings were made of feathers and wax. He was not supposed to fly too close to the sun. He did not listen to his father’s advice, as he was too curious about the things of the high blue sky. He lost his wings, melted by the rays of the sun .He came down and died into the blue sea.

This lamp combines the beautiful glow with the fragility of feathers and creates a beautiful and special atmosphere. It makes us think of the mysteries of the high sky like Icarus did.
