Collections – What And How To Display To Make A Statement With Wall Art

Are you currently collecting anything? If not, what would you like to collect and how would you display your collections? It could be anything from paintings to insects or plates and they can all be gathered in one awesome piece of wall art if you just know how to display them.Perhaps these examples can give you some ideas.

Something as usual as rusted pulleys can serve as interesting wall art for an area such as the bedroom. Here they are displayed above the bed and they add a nice touch to the guest room.

If you’re the type that likes curiosities and enjoy searching for them in antique shops, then gather a few of them and make a nice display for the bedroom wall. Not all the objects need to be related.

A collection of plates doesn’t necessarily have to look old or outdated if you know how to display it. For example, cover an entire wall of the dining room with plated, alternate shapes, sizes and colors and you can even cut out a few plates for a sharp look.

Mirrors are an interesting choice if you ever decide to start a collection. Choose different types, shapes and sizes like these ones which have ornate frames. Include a large mirror for contrast. The collection will look interesting and it will also make the room seem bigger.

How about a clock collection? There are all sorts of designs to choose from but antique clocks are very interesting. Display them on an exposed brick wall to emphasize their age.

Some people find tea pots very cute and lovely and they decide to collect them. An interesting way of displaying them all is on open shelves. Mix them up and don’t cluster together pots with the same color or shape.
