How to Decorate Your Bedroom for Valentine’s Day?

First of all Happy Valentine’s Day for you all! Valentine’s Day is here again and you wither celebrate it or not, but you can still see it all around you, in all the decorations that sell in the shops and in the streets, in all the dumb smiles of lovers all over the world who seem more in love today than in any other day. So I thought it would be a nice idea to give you a few tips about how to arrange your bedroom for this special day, as this is the most important room today, whether you want to admit it or not.

If you want to have a pleasant evening together with your boyfriend or husband, do not go for too much pink, as this color is regarded as being mostly feminine, so you’d better go for the traditional red, the color of love. So decorate your bedroom with red roses, dark red candles , heart shaped bed cushions or even small heart shaped carpets. All of them will be an open invitation to love, as this is celebrated today.

Lighting is very important and you might want to create a cozy atmosphere, so light candles and make the electric lights dim for an intimate night. Then create a magic scene from the bed by choosing amazing bed sheets made of sateen, silk or a similar fabric , then take some nice curtains or drapes and bolt them to the ceiling, surrounding the bed with them, just like you see in the movies or like a sultan’s bed.

This recipe is tried on and works perfectly. Add the magical ingredient: some soft romantic music and one more detail that is actually very important – add some personalized decorations all over the room. I mean bring all the pictures of the two of you together and decorate them with red hearts, spread some rose petals on the bed and I bet you’ll thank me tomorrow.
