How to Create a Wonderful Winter Foyer
The foyer of a house should always be good looking and well decorated as this is what creates the first impression of the house when anyone enters it. The winters are the festive season with Christmas and New Years and there is lots that one can do to decorate the foyer. One has to simply use their imagination and in this way they can really create a wonderful winter foyer. One should focus on colors like blues, reds, greens and shades of silver and white so that they can create the perfect looking entrance for winters.

There are some simple things that one can do to create the perfect winter foyer. One can place a rug right at the entrance in a green or a red color. Another beautiful combination that one can use in this season is that of white and blue. These colored carpets create a warm and nice look for the foyer. The next thing one can use is a small plaque. Again a light blue or a white or a plaque in any pale color will always look stunning and nice. One can hang the plaque using the door hangers else a small nail can be hammered to hang it.
One can use organza or tulle to hang it around the entrance. The key here is to always start from the centre and then move to the sides so that the fabric is draped in a U shape. One can use clear thumb tacks to attach the fabric. Small nails or double sided tapes can also be used to keep the fabric in place or the door. One can use faux ivy strings to the railings on the entrance or to the posts in the area. One can use florist tape to attach sprigs of red berries to add more effect to the foyer.
To create a snowy and soft affect one can place sheets of white on the tables that are there in the foyer. These also should be put in place by using a tape so that the fabric does not get crumpled or move from its place. One can also add arrangements made of twigs or some other small plants to add a little green affect to the area. One can also paint some cones for the perfect look. Creating a wonderful winter foyer is not tough provided one chooses the right colors.
