How to create a fairy themed bedroom?

I am a woman now, but I can remember that when I was a little girl and I read fairy-tales I used to dream about having my own very special fairy-themed bedroom. Well, I got over it in time, but now my daughter has the same dream, so I thought about making her wish come true, so I gathered some tips about the steps you need to make when creating a fairy-themed bedroom.

First of all you must think of the kind of fairy you will use as the basic theme and add all the other details according to this first choice. For example if your daughter is simply crazy about Tinkerbell, you will have to design the bedroom by choosing Tinkerbell- linked decorations. You will have to choose the color of the walls and of the furniture or carpet in order to match the theme and to match with one another. Tinkerbell is linked to the forest and has a green dress, so the color of the room will be GREEN with slight variations of shades.

If there are no specifications of fairy, then you can choose a combination of pink and red and white or even light purple for decorating the room. After that the combination of different objects that have fairies painted on them is only a matter of personal taste and luck. I recommend a themed bed that is pink and white, covered with a small white curtain like the wings of a fairy or even having a hanging fairy over it. Another idea might be to purchase a white bed looking like a Cinderella chariot in the shape of a pumpkin or so.

You can find a special clock with fairies on the Internet if you try hard enough and you can also purchase wall stickers with fairies, so you do not have to hire a special designer or painter.

You must not forget about the fairy-themed bedding and lamps. This shouldn’t be so hard to find both in normal stores and on the Internet. Leave some room for the girl’s fantasy, too, and buy her a nice dress, some wings, a magic wand and suggest her to paint her own version of a fairy in a special corner of the room, on white paper or directly on the wall. Help her yourself and have fun!
