How to choose the TV size for the room

Watching TV is indeed a great source of entertainment and it relieves the tension. But, when it comes to buying the right TV size, things don’t seem to be as easy as you may think. There are several factors which have to be taken into consideration when you are choosing right TV, First of those of course is the room size, because size of TV is directly proportional to your room size. Therefore, for small rooms, there are small TVs, and for big rooms, there is big TVs. Based on these fundamental criteria, you can take a step ahead and start searching for TV for your room.

When you search for the TV here are few important things which you should keep in your mind:

Measure the room size- The very first thing which you should be doing is measure the room size. Room size is more important than choosing the TV. Just guess if you buy TV which is big than your room size, then you will not be having enough space to accommodate in the room. Therefore, make sure that you a TV which synch with the room size so that you can also get comfortable viewing. It is not that hard thing to do.

Check the TV Price – There are several genres of TVs available which include Plasmas, LCDs, LEDs etc. The size of Plasmas, LCDs and LEDs will vary accordingly and so will the prices. You need to shop and compare the price of TVs according to your budgets.

Measure the TV Size –As the laws of physics go, you have to make sure that the screen should lay at the distance equivalent to 3 times the diagonal measurement. Simplifying it, if you are having 42’’ Plasma, or LCD, or LED, you need to make sure that screen distance should be between 5 feet 3 inches and 10 feet 5 inches. Likewise, if you are going for small TV sizes, the distance from screen will be less. This seems little technical, and therefore, you can always take the help of installation company.

Choose the Best Place to install – You should check the area in the room where the TV will fit perfectly. If you are mounting the TV on wall, then of course, you have to check the eye level as this will help in comfortable viewing.

Take these suggestions seriously when you go ahead and buy TV and get the right TV for your room.

In your article, you state that:
“you have to make sure that the screen should lay at the distance equivalent to 3 times the diagonal measurement.”

    So, 3 * 42 in = 10 ft 6 in

    Why do do then say:
“you need to make sure that screen distance should be between 5 feet 3 inches and 10 feet 5 inches”?

However, the number don’t match up with what you stated earlier. Did I miss some something?
