Fritz Hansen PK20 Chair

Danish designer Poul Kjærholm created this unusual, yet very interesting-looking chair named  PK20 Chair. Nowadays the chair is manufactured under licence by Fritz Hansen and can be purchased online from Danish Design Store for an amazing $10,403. Well, it may seem like a lot of money, but if your item is unique and very special it is worth the price. This chair is designed for the lounge and it is very nice and elegant, but also comfortable.

The design of this chair is rather unusual, as you there are the two twisted and flexed chair legs that allow you to bounce when sitting there or , better said, to rock in it. The backrest is firm, but comfortable and it has a low start, allowing a very comfortable position for your body. The chair is available in wicker and leather and apparently the leather model contains a leather head-rest, too. The stainless steel legs are very resistant and bend easily, also returning to their initial position in a sweet rock-a -bye-baby motion. Even if the chair was made back in the 1960s , it is now part of the modern art, being  included in the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
