Green is a very beautiful color. It’s usually associated with nature and all its freshness and often used in interior décor as a means of transferring all that dynamism and natural beauty onto a particular space. But green is not a very common color for the bedroom which is odd because it can be quite calming and refreshing. The combination between the tranquility that the bedroom needs to offer and the dynamism bought by this color is often difficult to balance out.
A green bedroom is a surprisingly rare image. Nevertheless, it can be a very strong and wonderful image when you see it. It’s true that green is a strong color but this doesn’t mean it can’t be used to create serene and relaxing decors. Depending on the shade of green you use in your bedroom, the décor will start to take shape and the atmosphere will gradually change. For example, a bedroom with an overall simple and neutral décor but with bold touches of green in the form of an accent wall, curtains, bedding, a rug or decorative furniture details can be well-balanced room if the colors are used cleverly.
If green is the main color that you want to use for your bedroom then you should redirect your attention towards softer shades and pastels. You could paint al the walls in pastel green and add a few slightly more colorful accents here and there for contrast. You could also combine pastel green with other soft pastels such as pink or beige and create a beautiful décor.
