Four Inspiring Front Entry Ideas

The front entry can really say a lot about a home. After all, the first impression can be very powerful and it can last a while. You might not realize, but while you spend most of the time inside, all other people see is the entry and the door. Here are some ideas for a fresh and visually challenging front entry.

The easiest way would be to stick with the classics. In this case it means a simple door, maybe mahogany, with matching molding sets and a timeless look. If you really want to stock with the classics, choose a door that had glass on the top. It’s not too simple neither too flashy. It’s just classic.

If you like classic designs but would rather have something a little different you can add a modern touch to your front entry. All it takes is some fresh paint, maybe something a little more vibrant, and some simple but fresh color contrast. For example, you can paint your door orange for a more modern look and the molding can be white.

The door is very important but it’s not everything. If you want a fresh look you can always use plants. They are basically the definition of freshness. You can use an outdoor table, maybe something with shelves to display your plants. You can use decorations on both sides but you need to create a similar visual effect.

High contrast is also an option. Impress your guests right from the entrance. Use contrasting colors for the door and the surrounding decorations. For example, you can use bright blue for the door and black for the trim. Add some colorful decorations, maybe something in yellow and it’s done. These are just suggestions. You can always adapt them or come up with something of your own.{all pics from bhg.com}.
