Flowers on Water Rug by Emma Garder

I saw a lot of movies both on TV and in the cinema hall and I was fascinated by all those Chinese movies where people  present their feelings and beliefs. One of the most frequent and also strong impressions is about praising the dead. And the whole ceremony is very touching, as both Chinese people and Tibetans throw flowers into the water as a remembrance of the loved ones they lost. This is a great symbol,  heavy with so many interpretations and traditions. But this habit generated many beautiful things and this Flowers on Water Rug by Emma Garder is inspired from it.

The flowers are coloured in shades of orange and yellow, pale or not. This rug is handmade of Tibetan Wool and Chinese Silk. It is pretty thick – 100 knots per inch, so you don’t have to worry about coldness any more. On the other hand , the designer whose name is Emma Garder does a great job by combining all the autumn colours with this unusual significance. The flowers do look great on water and the rug looks great in your living room. You can have it now if you order it for the sum of $4,875.
