First World Hotel in Malaysia

Hotels are made for offering accommodation to customers, so in the regions or countries where tourism is very developed the hotels will be bigger and taller, with more rooms and stories. Malaysia is one of the countries in Asia that have a wonderful tourism and they need lots of rooms for the tourists. So I guess this is the reason why you can find here the third largest hotel in the world by the number of rooms and not by the area covered or the number of floors. It is called First World Hotel and is located in Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. It was actually the largest hotel in the world until January 2008, when it was surpassed by The Venetian in Las Vegas.

It has a total of 6118 rooms and 28 floors and is famous all over the world because of its very colorful front. If you are standing in front of the building you will be able to see a rainbow of colors and it covers quite a wide area there, as it also includes a theme park and the surrounding area.

The architecture of this building is not that impressive and unusual, as it has to be big and steady enough to have all these rooms, so no grace here. But there is something majestic about it and the happiness it sends when you look at it. If you just see it in the photos you can’t realize its grandeur which is obvious when you are in front of it. A great place to visit though.
