Elegant Brook House Interior Design in London

In west London there is a wonderful contemporary property recently renovated by Oxford and London Building Consultancy. The result differs a lot from the original design. To paint a mental picture about how this house looked like I will tell you that has a imposing stucco façade, but inside there was a typical 1960s interior with quarry tiles, a narrow kitchen and a really unsafe staircase. Now, substantial changes were made to both the layout and décor.

On top of the new thing was the kitchen, it is now a large , spacious space with integrated dining area. After that a new master suit was designed and build and 3 additional bedrooms with corresponding bathrooms. Of course, from a place like this one a study room could not miss as well as a library, a wine cellar and a media room. The height of the ceilings is well compensated by warm shades of cream, found on the floors doors and walls.

Bold combinations like these between glass, metal railways and hard wood stairs remind us that we are still in the 21st century and modern features are a way of life. The bathrooms are very elegant, with beautiful sanitary items and furniture following the same color line like in the rest of the house. The elegant décor is highlighted by marvelous lighting fixtures adding a touch of class and finesse, but the word of order in this situation is sophistication along with a very high dose of good taste.
