The lamps don’t impress with their opulence. They’re neither too simple. These suspension lamps are the perfect combination of simplicity and glamour. They are very chic and stylish and they’re the type of detail that would make any room feel elegant.

The lamps were designed as a tribute to the beauty of the St. Basil cathedral from Moscow. Their designs mimic the shapes and images that are most prominent and reminiscent of the cathedral. The shapes of the lampshade resemble the domes of the cathedral and the differences in color, size and texture are a symbol of the uniqueness of each dome. Even though the lamps have very simple shapes and designs, a great attention has been paid to the details and this is visible from the beginning.

The lamps were created entirely without using a 3D CAD. This was a challenge for the designer but also an opportunity to experiment and to make the project personal. The idea was to convert the domes of the cathedral into lamps. There are four different designs for the lamps. One of them is simpler and features a series of twisting lines. The other one is a more dynamic design. The lamps feature the same shape and they come in different sizes, colors and finishes.
