Downtown Houston House by StudioMET

Located in Houston, Texas, USA, this modern and very calm residence was built in 2010 and it was a project developed by StudioMET Architects. StudioMET has a small staff of 5 professionals including 3 registered architects. The team collaborates during the whole project, from beginning to completion and this leaves room for no discrepancies in the design. They like challenges and they believe that creativity and communication are the key to unlock the perfect home for every one of us.

The Helene House is the perfect example for that. This modern beauty is located in an area where it’s surrounded by family homes. However, this was not an inconvenient. Rather than trying to make it blend in, they’ve made this house stand-out, giving it personality. As you can see, the exterior of the house is brightly and vividly colored, creating a fresh but still simple and stylish look.

Te interior of the house shares the same colors. Overall, the style is minimalist and very elegant and chic. In this case, less is really more. I don’t think they could have done a better job with this place. The house has large and airy rooms, a spacious kitchen, as well as a garage and a swimming pool. The windows are in a large number and they are also large in dimensions, allowing for the natural light to get in and for the users to enjoy the outside views.
