Distinctive Roadside Restaurant in Norway

The next property we are going to show you is an unique shaped roadside restaurant, located on the E18 outside of Oslo. This motorway diner is the perfect place to have a bite to eat, while enjoying the beautiful views.

Marché Lier1

Designed by Lund and Slaatto Architects in the shape of a folded plane, it is an astounding place, in the proximity of nature. The materials used in the design were chosen to make the restaurant a modern and interesting place to stop when you’re on the road. The outer part of the building is patinated copper cladding, while the inner surface is made up of timer veneer panels, where the position of the cladding is aligned with the banding in the cooper sheets.
