Dentist Clinic – Fukuyama, Hiroshima

Going to the dentist is really something no one likes to do, and when you are in the waiting room you can hear the sounds of teeth getting drilled and other stuff you just don’t want to hear at all.

Dentist Clinic – Fukuyama, Hiroshima6

Designed by architect Keisuke Maeda studio UID Architects, the dental office is located in Fukuyama the region of Hiroshima in Japan. The clinic has been built entirely of wood, material found in the form of plywood as an interior trim, and design in the form of boxes preserving the privacy of different parts of the interior. It’s a very modern design and the wood really makes you feel more comfortable in there, or least it tries.

It’s a nice way of turning something so despicable like going to the dentist into something more interesting, like going to the dentist in that very nice and interesting building. At least you’ll be busy contemplating the structure while waiting for the dentist.
