Candles are highly underrated when it comes to home decor. Yes, when the lights go out, they create light. Yes, if you get the right ones, they can smell like heaven. But, they also create romance and a relaxing ethos. No matter where you decide to use candles, they’ll create a warmer, more welcoming environment not only for guests but for yourself too! Cluster them, use a variety of heights, use a variety of scents, use unscented and get some stylish candle holders … but more important let’s look at some fun ways to decorate with candles in every room of your house!

Sprinkle around the room to create a romantic dinner, use colors and shapes to match your kitchen’s contemporary or vintage design,  use them in a centerpiece on your dinner table or maybe even have a light fixture made from some creamy wax.

Cluster them in the corner and keep your bathroom fresh. Use bright colors to add a bit of style to a monochromatic bathroom, or match them to the walls, relax in the tub with a candle burning near and keep things cozy even in the powder rooms of your home.

The ultimate romantic (and sometimes sexy) touch, candles are the coziest in bedrooms. Light them on a side table, windowsill, or beautiful sconces to create a warm, nightly glow. They add a bit of whimsy and old-age appeal so even the most contemporary and modern rooms.

During a movie, on the wall, as a light fixture or on every side and coffee table around, candles create warmth … which is great for family get-togethers. hide them in holders or keep them bare and organic depending on your space’s style. And sometimes something as simple as a candlelit fire place works wonders for design.

Create light, keep away the flying bugs and do something imaginative! Use your creative ability to do something fun outside (on the tables) and decorate with candles (in a safe way of course). Charming right? And don’t forget lanterns filled with tea lights!
