Dabob Bay House maintains Proximity with Nature

The sub-urban locations are ideal settings for a house that seems to adore nature and this one here located on Dabob Bay close to the Washington Hood Canal is a good example. The idea was to capture natural vistas from every possible space in the house while also accommodating traditional Northwest cabins in the mix. A purposeful effort was made to leave the beautiful site untouched and therefore no trees were felled and the structure was raised in whatever space was available amongst the trees. The final structure came up with the entry, the great room, living areas, bed rooms and a secluded but lovely reading room.[Bjarko|Serra Architects].
