Creative indoor plants decors for Christmas & New Year

Natural plants and flowers can make very beautiful decorations for the home and they are very appreciated all over the world. They are a great choice because they look good throughout the whole year. During summer they are lovely because they go well with the whole sunny atmosphere, in spring they are the very symbol of life and rejuvenation, in autumn they give us hope and during the winter month they are our last chance of seeing something fresh, until spring comes again. Flowers and plants can also make great seasonal decorations.

Christmas decorations.

For this particular time of the year you can use a particular plant called puansetija ( I couldn’t find the English equivalent). It’s a very beautiful plant that makes red flowers. This makes it a great choice for Christmas. Other options include cyclamen, another beautiful species of flowers. They are light and airy, with thin stalks and a rich palette of colors. They can be really romantic.

Other bright plants perfect for New Year’s Eve.

Some plants bloom in winter and this makes them particularly special during this season. They are also often associated with the New Year. In the Netherlands and the Scandinavian countries the symbol of this holiday is white so plants such as white hyacinths and amaryllis tend to be much more appreciated than those with red flowers. For this holiday, other beautiful decorations could also include other species as well.

Green deciduous and coniferous plants.

Obviously, coniferous plants are very appreciated during winter, especially since we all love the Christmas tree. Small coniferous plants are often used around the house and they can even be decorated. The mini-Christmas trees are very cute.{pis from d-r}
