Contrasting country house design by Jorge Moser

This beautiful country house that you see here was designed by architect Jorge Moser. It’s actually part of a farmhouse and it’s located in Empordà. The property, which is now a duplex, also includes a beautiful garden. The house occupies around 40 sq meters so it’s not either too small or too big. It’s actually a perfect family home.

The duplex is functionally divided into family spaces like the living room or dining room to which we could also add the outdoor areas including the patio and garden, and private areas like the bedrooms that are placed upstairs. The interior features mostly antique and rustic furniture like the table and the sofa for example. The pendant from the dining room is also an interesting element that contributes to the unique feeling you get inside this house.

The dining room features a rustic décor, with the beautiful curved chairs and the cozy fireplace. The kitchen is mostly simple and it features mostly wooden furniture pieces like the cabinets, the counter or the storage shelves. The bedroom is very relaxing and comfy. The bed occupies most of the room and it looks very inviting, almost begging you to lay down and take a nap. Throughout the whole house there are large windows that allow natural light to get in. Also, another interesting detail would be the exposed beams from the living/dining area for example. This only completed the whole rustic atmosphere.{found on micasarevista}
