Concrete wall penthouse in Berlin

The penthouse is designed by the couple Christian Boros and Karen Lohman , who live in this concrete wall home. This is a pure example that concrete, in its pure form, goes well in the interior of a house. The place is looking cold, and gives a shivery feeling, but they’ve manage to cover that by using limestone on the floors in a more warm color. I love how the sofa is so close to the windows it looks like, if you seat dawn, you are in open air, and you feel the fresh air.

The interior place is full of art, and it has a feeling of museum. The colors are in general dark ones so that it keeps the tone of the design. The only thing that makes the place very warm and cozy is the big windows that start from the floor and finish at the ceiling. The light seems to transform this morbid place, giving it a real live transformation.

The shaded red carpets all work together to give life to the place. The furniture is very modern, chair and sofas come in a different variety of styles. It looks like a place special made for reading and relaxation. The bookcase says that, and all the tables with the chairs that make that even more pronounced. The living space is made from: a sofa for long talks and debates, a dining table with beautiful chairs, a crashing bed where you could take a quick nap.{found on Elledecor}.
