Compact Bachelor Pad Captures All The Right Details In An Eclectic Design
The elegant and chic interior design you’re about to be mesmerized by was the work of M2 Project for a compact apartment in Moscow, Russia. The apartment is a bachelor pad unlike any you’ve seen so far.
The color palette is centered around gray as the main shade and one to be expected in a space with a masculine vibe. However, the neutral palette doesn’t give the apartment a boring and impersonal look. On the contrary, it was used to bring the décor to life in a subtle and elegant way.
In the living room, a small desk fits perfectly in the corner. It has a little bit of rustic charm. The wall-mounted cubbies are organized in a simple geometric design and an invisible bookshelf is just the element the corner needed to look extra special.
The classic chair with its retro simplicity is the perfect piece to complement the desk.
On the other side of the gray sofa, large sliding doors conceal the storage area and add modern elegance to the entire room.
The TV is mounted on the wall and the built-in shelf is perfect for displaying playful decorations and accessories. The wide wall-mounted cubby provides enough storage for all the media equipment and maintains an open and spacious look.
Behind the TV you can see the painted brick wall, the same as the one on the entrance hallway. It contrasts with the smooth gray wall creating an eye-catching effect.
The apartment has an open floor plan. The kitchen is tucked in the corner and is quite small. The white subway tile backsplash was meant to connect on some level with the brick walls we’ve noticed earlier.
A small dining area with a round table and two retro-chairs(Baxton Studio Pascal) matching the one used for the desk are the perfect elements to fit in the space between the living area and the kitchen. They form a tiny transitional area and also separate the two spaces.
And since the kitchen is tiny, you can expect the bathroom to be small as well. There’s enough space for a bathtub here but the corner shower with glass doors fit perfectly in there. The wooden shelves add a little bit of rustic charm to the space.
And then there’s also the balcony. It’s small but perfect for a small table and a chair. The two have matching designs and colors and the style complements the white brick walls just right.
As we promised, this bachelor pad is indeed unique. It has a visible masculine vibe but, at the same time, it features all the right little details.
