Colorful DIY Oriental Side Table

Summer is the season that makes us think of those exotic places like the luxuriant oases in the middle of the hot and arid deserts or the oriental buildings of the Arabic sheiks that impress us with their oriental and extraordinary design.

This colorful DIY Oriental Side Table will remind you of all these exotic images and will create the same ambiance in your apartment.The extraordinary thing is that you can create it yourself without too much trouble. All you need is: a sheet of 8 mm plywood, some metal legs, the print of the East mosaic tiles, PVA glue, decoupage varnish, a drill, an electric jigsaw, yellow and purple acrylic paint, a white paint spray and a brush. These are all the materials and tools that you need so that you can do a real good job.

Now you are ready to start so mark out the sheet of plywood and sawn it. You will get four squares with 40 cm sides and with 50cm side. Then you make some holes in the metal legs for screws by using the drill and paint these legs in white. Use the tile prints to paint two 40 cm plywood sheets in yellow and purple and two other 40 cm sheet to paint them in yellow.

The base of the table can be made by connecting four plywood sheets and four legs with screws. The remaining sheet of plywood paint in red and cover with decoupage glue. Then place it on the base and nail to it.

Now your space will get more color and will get an exotic touch. You already can smell the flavor of an oriental coffee that will be expecting you on this wonderful table as it can be used as a coffee table too.{found on wday}
