Not all homes have a big entryway so this is one more reason for us to try to find new and clever solutions for our storage problems. There are lots of things that need to be stored in that particular space and they don’t always seem to fit in there. But if you know how to organize your space, it might just work. There are some things that just need to be stored there, regardless of the size of your entryway. These usually include things such as umbrellas, a box or shelf for your mail and trash can for junk mail, a mirror so you always look good when leaving the house and maybe even some small hooks for your keys so you always know where to find them.

2. Use hooks for a clutter-free space.

All items such as a purses, bags, hats, scarves and coats should be put away somewhere where they won’t incommode anyone, where they would be safe but where they can be easily accessible when needed. The best solution would be to use hooks. They can be installed anywhere and they take very little space and provide great storage options for all these objects.

3. A special area for storing shoes.

Try to get used to taking your shoes off at the door. Not only that your feet will instantly feel great but you will also be able to keep the floor clean in the rest of the house. It would also be advised to have a zone where the shoes can be put away. Maybe have a show rack or some shelves for this purpose. Also, don’t keep all your shoes there but only the ones that you wear most often.{picture sources:1,2,3}.
